At the beginning of 2019, I had the opportunity to exhibit my work at the Ginza Mireya Gallery's "Happy New BOAR Year!!!" exhibition.
I exhibited four original drawings: "Shiba Inu's Forest House," "SHIBA INC.," "SHIBAvengers," and the new "SHIBAcloset."
Ginza Mireya Gallery is a very cozy gallery located in Ginza 1-chome.
This group exhibition started off in a friendly atmosphere, with wonderful female artists.
Similar to when I participated in Design Festa, there's a certain tension in having people view your work directly. It's rewarding to receive feedback, gain new insights, and learn from the experience.
I'm grateful for this valuable opportunity, and I'm also grateful to my friends who came to visit. And thank you to my company for giving me time off!
And when I really think about it, spending time talking with someone, centered around art, feels incredibly luxurious.
It doesn't need to have an answer, or a punchline, and time is free. I can't quite articulate this atmosphere, which is different from usual, but it's a peaceful and luxurious time.
